After exchange of several e-mails between me and the lottery board as well as so calles high prfile bank . And on top of that this is what they have written to me “Dear Winner
This is to inform you that you have fully been cleared a winner of the BRITISH NATIONAL LOTTERY 2007 BONUS DESK program. I am happy to inform you that a Certified bank cheque, Original Certificate of winning, has been forwarded to our affiliate COURIER COMPANY Mailpost Courier Services”
Do you think this could be a scam? because what the are asking me to pay them couple of thousand pounds in advance for tax before the winning prize could be transferred to my account!!! What guarantee would I have that the money would be transferred to my account after the money that I am required to pay before hand ? Please contact me by e mail or phone if somebody has experieced the same hting. My number is 1-868-365-4086 and email kanti12us@yahoo.com.
Thanks

THESE ARE JUST TWO OF THE MANY THAT
I PERSONALLY HAVE RECEIVED…..ALL THIS IS JUST A SCAM FOR PEOPLE TO SEND IN MONEY TO THEM AND RECEIVE NOTHING IN RETURN. I CAN’T BELIEVE YAHOO ALLOWS THEM TO USE THIS MAIL
SERVICE IN THIS FASHION…!
(1) The U.K. National Lottery
(2) unitednation@ uonlinesweepstakes.orangehome.co.uk
HEY, ..dewcoons, & shooeymoo

THANKS FOR YOUR RESPONSES…

HOWEVER…..DO THE ADDESSES THA T I HAVE ATTACHED BELOW APPEAR AS THOUGH THEY ARE NOT FROM
A YAHOO MAIL ACCOUNT…..THEY LOOK
LIKE IT TO ME. THESE BUSINESSES/ INDIVIDUALS ARE DEFINATELY
USING YAHOO MAIL SERVICES TO
SEND FRAUDULENT MATERIAL TO
OTHER YAHOO MAIL RECIPIENTS.
THEY ARE MERELY PRETENDING TO
BE OFFICIALS NOTIFYING NORMAL
YAHOO MAIL USERS OF UNBELIEVABLE WINNINGS AND THEN ASKING YOU TO
SEND HUGE AMOUNTS OF CASH BACK
TO THEM IN ORDER FOR THEM TO
SEND YOU MONEY THAT YOU HAVE
NOT REALLY WON.

TO ASK IF I WOULD PREFER THAT
YAHOO SENSOR MAIL IS WAY OFF
TRACK. I JUST BELIEVE THAT IT
SHOULDN’T ALLOW THIS TYPE OF
DECEPTION TO GO ON THROUGH
YAHOOS’ SERVICES. YAHOO SHOULD ATTEMPT TO PUT A STOP TO IT…..I THINK MOST NORMAL FOLKS WOULD
ALSO AGREE….!

I have received notification from this person with “The National Lottery” that I have won a certain amount of money. I have never entered or posted any sort of information with this organization, and was wondering if this is something you have heard about and if I should proceed.
