I’m a third year University student in a jam. Thanks to the Top-Heavy Conservative Christian government currently in place in the United States a middle class guy like me was turned down for federal funding to finish school. I know there are other options and I have pursued and used them, they still aren’t enough. I’ve managed to secure enough money to pay for this upcoming year but will not beable to pay to finish my degree.
The only option I see available to me, other than winning the lottery, is to join the Illinois National Guard in which the problem lies. I HATE our current administration and the current xenophobic and racist war against Islam but joining the ARNG is the best way I see to pay for school.
Is is okay to sacrifice personal ideology and political beliefs to obtain a goal?
